Apr 25 - 2013 Fantasy Playoff Pool The second Marylou Lymer Memorial Fantasy Playoff Pool is now accepting teams. All net proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society to fight breast cancer and the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation. Apr 8 - $13,600 Donated to the Canadian Cancer Society We donated $13,600 to the Canadian Cancer Society dedicated to breast cancer initiatives. This brings the 2013 Gibsons MLLM Hockey Tournament total donated to $18,600. Mar 30 - Gramma's Pub Wins! Gramma's Pub repeats, winning the 2013 Gibsons MLLM Hockey Tournament over the Sunshine Coast Credit Union. About Our Fundraising Events

About Marylou Lymer Memorial Charity Hockey Tournaments and Other Fundraising Events Marylou Lymer Memorial Charity Hockey Tournaments and other fundraising events are held in honor of Marylou Lymer, a mother and grandmother, who courageously battled breast cancer for seven years, passing away on April 1, 2010. In 2009, she helped establish an annual hockey tournament in her hometown of Gibsons, British Columbia to raise funds to assist charities dedicated to the fight against cancer. Her dream was to see other communities utilize friends, family, and hockey as a basis for fundraising dedicated primarily to fighting breast cancer.
